With summer finally here, bright and bold colours are stronger than ever. We have taken inspiration from the design style of California Modern Beach House for this month’s mood board.
In today’s post we are featuring Tofino from our PurParket Element collection. This collection combines an extremely durable core that is also 100% waterproof making it the perfect choice for busy environments. This collection features 7” wide planks in designer curated colour selections sure to suit a variety of aesthetics.
Tofino is in the light gray family of colours, bringing lightness and airiness to any space. Combine this flooring with contrasting bold wall and/or accent colours to create a beautiful and vibrant space. Indoor potted plants, like a parlor palm, are a great way to bring nature and another element of texture into your home.
We paired Tofino with neutral colours by Benjamin Moore paints, such as Silver Satin 856, soft greens like Quiet Moment 1563 and a dark grey like Burnt Ember. Compliment this palette with neutral tiles like Halite and Frost from Fireclay.
As for furniture, we chose a Caicos Cement dining table that combines the rugged look of concrete with the natural beauty of wood, creating a clean and casual overall feeling. We brought a fresh dose of texture by pairing a Black Rush dining chair with a woven wicker seat. Both furniture pieces are from Crate&Barrel. Anchoring the dining space is a Darwin Small Pendant and Medium Pendant from Generation Lighting; this style thoughtfully blends urban and rustic styles.
